It’s amazing to me how quickly a week whizzes by when I’m busy.
All of a sudden it was Saturday morning and time for my last class in Alabama. We had an early start because I had a plane to catch at the end of the day. Becky made me a big pot of coffee…
The Cotton Boll quilters are a small but mighty group and there was a good turnout.
Once I had finished my introduction and steps to success everyone soon had their machines set up and purring along…
Seams were sewn and a line formed at the pressing station. But then it was back to stitching. Nice flat hands at all manner of machines..
Working our way through lots of designs and ideas
All achieved with the control of the feed dogs up and either a walking foot or even feed system engaged.
Got to love these branching organic curves. The ladies smiled right through to the end!I had such a good time in Alabama!
It was my first trip to two guilds in one week. I think I did alright. Of course I did have lots of help along the way. Let’s do it again sometime?
Time to fly off into the sunset.
I have been busy since I’ve been home. Apart from all the unpacking and paperwork that follows an excursion I am down to the wire on the book manuscript… I can do it. Yes, I can!
YES! You certainly can do it! Congratulations on teaching at two guilds in one week.
I just love your creativity and talent! You are such an inspiration to me in Anchorage, AK!
Thanks Christy.
