I said I have more pictures?
Yes, I do!
These are a little random. I just took pictures whenever I saw something that caught my eye, mostly pretty things. I don’t think I can have too much pretty…
Here’s bari J.’s lovely display featuring the Joie de Vivre collection for Art Gallery Fabrics.Just had to take a closer look at this pillow!!
I’m never going to make these Mom and me outfits but I can take a picture? (Welcome Home by Jenifer Bosworth for Maywood Studio)More cute things that I’m never going to make… (Teddy Bear’s Picnic by Melly and me forRiley Blake)
Another doll outfit in a very different color palette (On Plumbery Lane by Nancy Rink, Studio 37 fabrics)
Baby accessories in Japanese fabrics made me stop and take another look!
And I needed a complete shot of Amy Butler‘s marvelous display. She got second place in the double booth display categoryEverybody needs some Kaffe fabric in their stash and tuffets are IN!! What a combination. And for a complete contrast, how about some wool embroidery from Yumiko Higuchi, featured in the book Simply Stitched ?I think that’s a good place to stop. Market was fun. I did buy a few things (!!?) but they are getting home with Pegg so I’ll have to wait for them. I think the new colors were best described by Kathy Miller as “clear but not bright”. I’m glad to report that embroidery and handwork continues to feature. Wide backs will appear in increasing numbers in your local quilt store along with an amazing quantity of beautiful knit fabrics for garment stitching.
Ever onwards…
Beautiful booths…I love the tuffet…..
