For all our worries, our journey to Little Rock was remarkably simple and before we knew it we had arrived at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.
The National Quilting Association likes to start its classes early so I was downstairs in the Convention Center at just after seven AM, ready to begin at eight!
First up was Walking Foot Quilting – Out of the Ditch. Who comes up with these titles?
Here’s my table, hand outs, samples and water bottle at the ready.
I think we had twelve students. They seemed happy to set to stitching!
Everyone brought blocks from home to try out some new ideas.
Three and a half hours flies past when you’re having fun and it was soon for a lunch break and a new set of students for Successful Free Motion Quilting.
This was a fun gadget for doodling. I wish I’d made a note of its name.

We managed to share a few laughs and everyone did very well. It’s not a class without students.
The word for the day was practice… Practice might not make perfect but it certainly helps!
