Last Tuesday was the annual holiday party for the Riverwalk Quilters. Loraine and Jane did a wonderful job of organizing us and making the tables look pretty.
Nancy was the Rummage Sale queen this year. The sale tables were obviously the place to be…
We even had stuff on the stage…
I did pick up a few bargains but I managed to come home with less than I took!
We posed for a picture while we were all together. Can you spot me in the line up?
The snow returned on Saturday.
Here is the parking lot at Quilters Quest mid morning.
Meanwhile we were getting to grips with Walking the Walk of Machine Quilting 1 inside.
The ladies basted their quilts,
Co-operative basting in action…
and stitched with their walking feet on…
Note the well place hands…
We had a full classroom. MQ2 is scheduled for February 15th. We will put our feed dogs down and set off in earnest then!
My gift card was burning a hole in my wallet so I set Celeste a challenge. She got help!
And I came home with forty half yards of Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids to add to my stash.
Some happy sewing times are in my future.
Meanwhile I am getting my bags packed again. I’m off to see Sheila and go to Road to California. No snow there!
