I do like getting parcels delivered to my door step. I got three yesterday!!
Two were from Leora at African Folklore Embroidery with goodies to take to my workshops and speaking engagements.
These traditional Ndebele beaded dolls are adorable and they can be yours!! I will be selling them on my travels. Hand made in South Africa, you know you want one?
I also renewed my inventory of kits and threads. I love the way the threads look on the table together…
Don’t they make you itch to stitch?
My other parcel was the new Quilting Arts TV DVD. The picture is a little shiny because I haven’t taken the wrapper off yet… I need someone to be with me when I watch it for the first time.
And, in all the excitement I’ve been making another little quilt, a log cabin this time.
I just have a few inches of binding left to sew down and then it’ll be back to my wool appliqué and some soothing music today…
Ohhh, I love the log cabin quilt! Always such nice use of colour Catherine!
