I have been working my way through my to-do list, some days getting more done than others. There’s lots to do to be ready for the months ahead. Every step is a step in the right direction?
On Tuesday I had my first lecture and workshop of the year with the good folk of the Michigan Needlework and Textile Guild. We were on Zoom, with the members keeping warm and cosy in their own homes, but my set up means I get to see my audience, even when I am sharing my presentation or spotlighting my screen. I might not have been able to hear them but I could see some of the giggles during Lessons learned While Quilting, and everyone was able to share their finished pieces at the end of our Beading on Fabric class.

It’s been a cold start to the year here in northern Illinois. I am looking forward to boarding the plane to head to SoCal for Road to California on Tuesday. I’m not teaching this year but I will be hanging out in the booth with the Batty Lady on preview evening and for an hour or so each day. I’ll be doing quilting demos at the sewing machine, and have books, stickers and postcards available. If you are at the show please stop by and say hi!!

Oh I wish I could see these pictures closer up to see the details. I was signed up for that beading class when Stitches shut down and bummed to miss it. Love your classes Catherine.
Hi Kim! Watch this space… I will be offering the class via Zoom in June for a national on-line show. I will be telling you all about it soon 🙂
