After all the excitement and fun on the cruise I am back to sewing again. I have a November 30th deadline, a half quilted top and an idea…
Meanwhile I’ve been making some future plans. I’ve updated my calendar with a trip to Little Rock, Arkansas for the NQA Annual Quilt Show where I will be a full time faculty member with four half day classes and one full day one. June in Little Rock, could be fun?
Then of course there’s the DVD!! Modern Machine Quilting: Straight Lines, Spirals, Serpentines and more.
It’s available NOW as a digital download and for pre-order if you like to have an actual DVD. Vivika posted on Quilting Daily today, including theses shots taken in the studio.
You can buy it at the Interweave Store if you so desire…
As if that’s not enough I’ve booked to go to Muscatine in May 2015 and will be in Champaign IL in March 2016…
And,
I got the fat envelope from Quilt! Knit! Stitch! today. I’ll be back in Portland Oregon next August with five classes including my newest one, Happy Scrappy Improv Quilts. It’s not up on my workshop offerings yet but think one quart bag of scraps, half a yard of a neutral fabric and your happiest thoughts!!
I’ve got lots of happy thoughts to ponder today. Back to that quilt I’m quilting…
That quilt at the top? It’s an antique hexagon top that always makes me smile when I look at it and think of the stitchers who worked on it such a long time ago.
Congrats on all the exciting upcoming events you have going on!
