I’m still recovering…
But we did it! Eighteen of us together in one place. John wan’t able to join us because chefs don’t get the holidays off. He was missed.
There are over 400 pictures in the family album. I will spare you most of them.
Here it is, Redford Family Thanksgiving 2022 in review…
Bonnie and Caroline bonded at the piano…
Lots of busy little people! There were several attempts at family photos. Today’s featured image was supposed to be just the children but several parents got in the way.
We tried a group shot at the park.We really tried! This was the best one…The Harmata turkey was pronounced excellent by a very discerning duo.A private pool party (everyone else left the hotel pool when we arrived!) gave another photo opportunity.Ruby took her child care responsibilities seriously.Joanne and family left after dinner on Friday but the rest of us were able to enjoy Rockford’s annual Stroll on State festivities on Saturday afternoon.
Girls on parade!A happy boy and his dad waiting…There is a thriving Jeep club in town and they turned out in force. There were dogs,Girl Scouts,
Inflatable cup cakes,Horses,And then there was Santa!!
And lots of candy…
The day finished with a firework display we watched from the 12th floor of the Embassy Suites…Not a dull moment all weekend.
And then it was time to return home… I’m supposed to be working. I have caught up with a little paper work, and made some lists, but I’m taking it slowly… There’s always next week?
Before we left town I had managed a little stitching. I came home with some new threads from Houston and I made some samples.
Basic Neutrals, eight spools in three thread weights and a mix of warm and cool tones to add texture and interest…Up close…
And Bodacious Blooms, another eight spools, in three weights and a range of floral shades.
The beauty shot…
The collections will be available in the spring… I’ll let you know.
