I finished my improvised insertion quilt!
Lots of straight lines, some little border strips and an orange binding…
Here’s a close up of that quilting.
If I had been assembling it at home I might have moved the blocks an inch this way or that but I like it anyway. It was a fun Saturday class with Jacquie Gering. Somehow it’s different having a workshop on a Saturday?
Last week I got my new copy of Modern Quilts Unlimited. It got a little distressed on the journey.

AND, I heard my Long Winter quilt was accepted into the Modern Category, Use of Negative Space category at Road to California.
I guess I should be packing to set off to Nashville in about an hour. It’s time for a wedding.
