It’s my turn on the blog hop today. So what is there to tell?
I was so excited when Vivika asked me if I would like to make the DVD. I had filmed a walking foot quilting segment for QATV but I had so much more left to share… I wrote proposals, filled out paperwork, made lots of samples,
and just six months later I was getting ready to travel to the studios in Cleveland.
Rolls of quilts and boxes of stuff…
I drove the 400 miles all by myself!
Everyone gets a table in the green room to set their bits on ready for inspection.
The workshops are filmed at the end of the day after the TV segments so I hung out in the Green Room (staying calm?) until at last it was time to go on set.
We set my props out for the first scene.
I got wired for sound…
Which was too much fun…
Time to pose for a pic before we started.
And then we were off!
There were cameras everywhere…
But I kept smiling all the way to the end…
Now, three months later, the DVD is available in the Interweave store for your enjoyment! It took me a little while to pluck up the courage to watch it but it seems people do actually like it…
And what’s it all about? A good question. There are lots of descriptions available. The one at the store says it very well or check out the out some of the blogs listed below…
You’ve got two more days to leave me a comment for a chance to win your very own copy. I’ll be drawing for two DVDs on the day after Christmas. If you posted a comment on day nine which happened to be my birthday there’s an extra chance for something special. Come back on Friday to see if you won.
