We had a fun evening watching the rain come pouring down as the trees in the parking lot were blown around and lightning flashed across the sky… Power went out for a couple of minutes but nothing could stop the intrepid group of ladies at Pieceful Heart Fabrics cutting and stitching their Japanese Jigsaw quilts… Diane came with her top made,
We all loved her rich, deep colors, inspired by that wonderful print in the border. Diane chose her backing fabric before she went home so we will look forward to seeing a finished quilt soon!
Other fabric choices ranged from black and red cats,
through reproduction dark blue prints,
to pretty teal and brown batiks.
