I’m here!
My flight was on time and uneventful. My luggage arrived on the carousel just as anyone could hope. I managed to fit all three large suitcases and the carry-ons onto the cart without it falling off on the way to the Uber pick up spot.
So now I am happily ensconced on the seventeenth floor of the Hilton of the Americas with a view of the parking lot, electricity sub station and some fine looking buildings… I just need to keep my eyes up!
I have been helping to set up the booth since Thursday afternoon. I always need a picture crossing the bridge to the Convention Center.
It looks good in the warm Texan sunshine!
Fresh plants in the planters caught my eye.

It takes a lot of work to transform the show floor…
We will be ready for opening time this morning…
I went to Sample Spree last night. It was busy!
The Moda booth after 20 frenzied minutes…
And what did I buy? This is where I usually post a picture of my purchases but this year I bought nothing. I guess I really do have all the stuff?
Back to my room.
The lights honor the Astros. The Phillies won last night so it was quiet out… We’ll see what happens tonight.
