What a super day for a quilt show! The skies were blue and the sun was warm on Sunday morning for the second day of Faithful Circle‘s Quilt Show on the beautiful campus of Benedictine University in Lisle. The show used to be held in a Junior High School which was fine but the new venue was bright and modern, and so much nicer, to get up close and really look at the quilts. There were lots of white glovers on hand for those who wanted to see the back of those quilts…Along with the quilt display and the usual vendors there were gently used books and vintage fabrics for sale,
An American Girl doll raffle, (I didn’t get a phone call…)and a lovely set up for a bed turning.
It’s an incredible amount of work to put on a quilt show. The ladies of Faithful Circle should be feeling very happy today about a job very well done.
