They are married!!
We had a wonderful time in Nashville with a plethora of family and friends at hand to witness Jonathan and Lauren’s wedding.
Just one picture of the happy couple and their parents…
Taking pictures in the atmospheric (dark!!) venue was hard. We’ll have to wait and see how the real photographers did.
After a few days sleep it was time to finish a quilt…
Sarah’s brother and wife invited us to their home to celebrate Thanksgiving. Their baby Connor is four months old so what better reason did I need to get this one done?
It is the center of an Ashley quilt on one side (from Super Simple Fat Quarter Quilts by the Possibility ladies) and my own concoction on the back.
I did wavy line quilting all over,
and washed it before we set off to the wilds of Yorkville.
The fabric was all from the Scoot line designed by Deena Rutter for Riley Blake fabrics. I bought the fat quarter bundle from Craftsy at least a year ago. I knew I would find a good use for it one day!!
On Friday morning Ruby and Benjamin called in to say hello on their way back to Rockford. They had fun with Duplo in the family room. They both put on their happy faces for the camera…
So now all the celebrations are done for at least two and a half weeks… Can you believe it’s only 21 days until Christmas?
I am working on some hexagons…
Nearly all basted and then I can start stitching them together… And I have a big bag of yo-yos made, all ready for another project!
On Monday I heard that I have had three proposals accepted for publication next year…
Every day should be a celebration in the Redford household!
