Walking Foot Fun in Lake Forest

The rain was pouring down when we arrived with all our stuff to set up for class last Wednesday morning… but quilters are made of very strong stuff and a full roster of ladies found their way to the lower lever classroom under the watchful eye of the blue angel that is today’s featured  image!img_9940An introduction to steps to success, some stitching ideas and they’re off…img_9947Straight lines and not so straight lines, time to experiment!img_9953Add in some sharp points and serpentine stitch…img_9956And what’s not to love about a spiral?
img_9959Even a more organic one…img_9957Totally spiralicious!

I’m teaching this class four more times in the next month or so. It’s so exciting to see what everyone makes of all the ideas we share. There are going to be lots of quilt finishes in the Northern Suburbs before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, I’ve been stitching a few things myself. I’m planning on showing you very soon.
