Souvenirs of Little Rock

I finally unpacked my class supplies suitcase this morning. I know… it’s been a busy week and you only know the half of it…

Often when I travel I am given little remembrances of the trip. Little Rock outdid itself! Southern hospitality times two!

Here’s a peak at what was in the goody bag the teachers received… (with a few extras I picked up around town)

The hexie bag from Quiltmania came with a subscription to their new Simply Moderne magazine. I bought the orange mug at the Presidential Library.

Coming from the North of England I’m not too sure about the wording on the fridge magnet and rice crispie cake (yes, that’s a big hunk of sweet deliciousness in the top left hand corner of this next picture) but I understand the sentiment well…

And I’ve never been given liquor in a goody bag before!!

Between the Peach Arkansas Lightning, long grain rice, chocolate rocks and Marshmallow Rice Treat I do believe all the basic food groups were well covered!

Thank you Little Rock, I’ve got lots to remember you by long after the comestibles are gone…

Today’s featured image shows a Little Rock pin from the goody bag, a silver Dresden plate charm I bought from Siesta Silver Jewelry on the show floor (it will go on one of my pandora bracelets) and the NQA 2015 show pin, Down by the Riverside.
