Progress

There are two half full suitcases in the front room… I am gradually checking things off the list as I add them to my bags. I am hoping that packing for classes will get easier with practice?

Julia came over yesterday and I now have two wool appliqué patterns to offer.

I looked after the children (watched Daniel Tiger…) while she sorted out the copy shop and photographs and then we had a little production line going to fold, glue and package. I don’t think we will be going into mass production any time soon. The patterns unfold to be full size and Julia made a wonderful job of formatting everything. That degree in Visual Communications comes in handy.

We decided that I need four mini patterns too, so she is going to work on those at home and I should have them ready by Monday. Deadlines certainly add focus.

The children weren’t really in the mood for photographs but I did manage to snap one of Ruby while snacking…

That’s her ballerina hairstyle. She is signed up for dance class in September…

The only half decent picture I got of Benjamin was when he was securely strapped in his car seat ready to go home.

Yes, he has lost a tooth. It went down the drain but the tooth fairy still came to visit…

So progress is being made on the Quilt!Knit! Stitch! front. I’m hoping to finish checking that packing list today as I have a few other projects to work on before I travel.
