Modern Patchwork, summer edition.

Today’s news… I’m so excited!

I’ve got two quilts and an article in this summer’s edition of Modern Patchwork.

PT1506

“Hexies by Hand”? That’s my article.

My English paper pieced quilt After April Showers is inside and you will be able to buy a kit to make your own. They made it look so pretty.

And, my Sand Dollar Quilt is in there too. I don’t  have a good picture to show you yet but as soon as I do you know I’ll be sharing it! I’ve given you a hint in my featured image at the top today…

There’s lots of other quilts (twenty five projects in total) and articles too of course. I’m sure their makers and authors are just as excited as me.

So, where can you get this wonderful magazine? Click on this link for the Interweave store and it will take you right there. Or find it in your favorite local magazine retailer.

Enjoy!

Congratulations Catherine, those are very pretty quilts. I haven’t done hexies by hand (yet) which is so popular now, but many by machine. I love the look no matter how they’re made.

I really like the placement of the hexies on your quilt. The colors remind me of this year’s Michael Miller challenge at QuiltCon. Your straight line quilting is amazing, as always!

Thanks Marla. Not a co-incidence those colors. Yes, it was a QuiltCon reject… funny how those things work 🙂

Fabulous, Catherine! Your work is amazing and so are you. I’m not surprised a bit that you are taking the publishing world by storm! The Sand Dollar quilt is so beautiful- simple but elegant with the traditional twist of the hexies. I love it.
