I got a call from Pieceful Heart Fabrics on Monday, “Gina had a little project I might like to do for her”… So I hot footed it over there to pick up a Santa Panel from Timeless Treasures and co-ordinating fabrics to make a quick holiday wall quilt.
And three hours later here it is..
I guess that counts as a quick project. It’s about 30″ x40″ so it’s only small but definitely seasonal!
Today I finally finished Jeni’s quilt. Joanne and Jonathan are off to England on Saturday and will be dropping in on the farm for a couple of days. That means they will be able to deliver it a whole month before the baby is due.
Joanne had a few problems working out how to hold it up for me to photograph…
Eventually she got sorted and we went out outside to get our picture.
I used the mini block option of Lover’s Knot pattern from Quilt in a Day. There’s flannel on the back and another layer of flannel in the middle. I hope the baby likes it!!
Tomorrow I’ll have a change of pace with FabricOrigami stars.
