In Print… QuiltCon Magazine 2020

So, what was in the packages when I got home from Charlotte?

Thanks for asking!

Why, two copies of this year’s QuiltCon magazine in one large envelope… and some stitched samples I last saw in October last year in a box.

Here’s the cover of the magazine, your guide to the Modern Quilting event of the year!

TRENDING NOW!

High-Def Quilting Techniques 🙂

Let’s look inside… page 43… an interesting article by yours truly!Three pages worth of words and pictures, pulled together and sorted out by the most excellent people at Quilting Daily.Vivika and her team do such a good job of making all the contributors look like they know what they are doing. The magazine is filled with articles, quilt patterns and of course there is a preview of some of the quilts entered in this year’s show. It will be available at the convention in Austin next week and then wherever you usually buy your magazines. Or you can buy it on-line at the Quilting Daily website where the digital issue is ready to be downloaded right now.

It’s been a while since I had an article in a magazine. It’s an exciting/not quite believable thing 🙂

Meanwhile, I have been packing my bags. I am headed to Sarasota tomorrow. Florida is sounding good to me when the view outside the kitchen window is something like this right now…

I am hoping to see the sea while I am there but of course it’s a business trip… I will be teaching three classes for the Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild and then giving my Trip Around the World lecture on Monday evening. Come and see me if you are anywhere near… It might be a bit short notice but there are still a few spaces in the classes if you want to try your hand at Walking Foot Quilting, Wool Appliqué or Improv piecing. Very short supply lists. You know it will be fun!

Another adventure awaits…
