I do love me a beginners free motion quilting class!
With just a brief introduction, which includes stories of me learning to drive(!?!!), we set to work sketching,
threading our machines (with a little help from Deb),
and then stitching, smiles on our faces,
our backs straight,
and our hands in the approved position…
A pretty fabric design is a great way to practice getting our stitch length even.
Kuy was exhausted just thinking about it!!
What fun. I don’t know about the students but I came home brimming over with ideas for my next quilt. I just need to tidy my sewing room a little… yes. Again!
