Back in the basement

Now that the holidays are officially over I am back in the basement working hard!

The Pieceful Heart Fabrics Winter class catalog came out today so my samples are now officially late. However, I have finished three new projects ready to take in in the morning…

First a little Split Rail Quilt for my Quilter and Child class in my favorite colors… We’ll be using the pattern in Alex Anderson’s Kids Start Quilting book from C&T publishing.

and then a new version of my tote bag, just the right size for library books… also for a Quilter and Child class.

And for a complete change of pace… a thread painted flower bowl from an Angela McIntyre pattern for Embellishment Village. this one is the large Petal Flower version with added Angelina Fiber sparkles. I don’t think my picture does it justice. I will definitely be making more of these and adding beaded centers but for now this one is good to go…

I still need to make a fused applique flower wall-hanging and a hand embroidery sampler. I guess we know what I’ll be doing tomorrow?
