Anne’s Quilt

Our bee met again lost week and resumed working on “Anne’s Quilt”. Yvette was in charge of cutting…

 

Dorothy and Dorothy were piecing and Pat did the machine applique. I sat and watched. My chair was very comfortable… Then we started putting the blocks on the wall…

and then some more…

and then it was time for lunch! We’ll do more next time. 

This is sort of what we are aiming for…

As I mentioned before the pattern is from Love of Quilting. Ours will not be quite as big. We are just doing 12 blocks so it will be a decent size child’s quilt or throw. When we are finished we are planning on donating the quilt to the Little Friend’s annual auction in Naperville. (2009?) It is fun doing a quilt together like this. We are a “real” bee now!!
