Time to go back to School?

How did you feel about the first day of school?

A little apprehensive?IMG_2521

or roaring to go?

One particular back to school day stands out very clearly…  as a rush to get my holiday homework finished… At the end of fourth grade we were given hundreds of math problems to keep us busy over the summer and I left them to the very last few hours. Not the best idea, no time to get them looked over… I certainly learnt a lesson, if not exactly the one intended!

I met the inimitable Sam Hunter of Hunter’s Design Studio in California a few years ago. She’s a fine teacher, pattern designer and  industry leader in the We are $ew Worth It campaign. When she asked me to take part in her latest scheme, A Back to School Blog Hop, of course I was delighted to say yes!

BTW, I recovered from the embarrassment of my very bad grade at the beginning of that school year! September 1969… 46 years ago, how did that happen?
