Out of the Ditch in Auburn

It’s amazing to me how quickly a week whizzes by when I’m busy.

All of a sudden it was Saturday morning and time for my last class in Alabama. We had an early start because I had a plane to catch at the end of the day. Becky made me a big pot of coffee…

The Cotton Boll quilters are a small but mighty group and there was a good turnout.

Once I had finished my introduction and steps to success everyone soon had their machines set up and purring along…

IMG_6452Working our way through lots of designs and ideas
IMG_6456All achieved with the control of the feed dogs up and either a walking foot or even feed system engaged.

Got to love these branching organic curves.IMG_6458The ladies smiled right through to the end!IMG_6467I had such a good time in Alabama!

It was my first trip to two guilds in one week. I think I did alright. Of course I did have lots of help along the way. Let’s do it again sometime?

Time to fly off into the sunset.

I have been busy since I’ve been home. Apart from all the unpacking and paperwork that follows an excursion I am down to the wire on the book manuscript… I can do it. Yes, I can!
