I had a fun time yesterday afternoon with a small, select class of just three children and their quilters at Pieceful Heart Fabrics. We were making Watering Can, described as a “fused art quilt”, by Laura Wasilowski for ArtFabrik.
Three hours is a long time for an adult class to concentrate but the children were real troupers and carefully cut and fused away.
Their little fingers were good at peeling the backing paper off the pieces…
Teamwork and smiles were the order of the day,
Everybody added their own individual touches. Individual flowers were cut and fused on this art piece…
This one went home all ready for mounting on to a piece of Fast2fuse.
