English Paper Piecing in Little Rock

Day Three at the NQA show!

Time for a change of pace and some hand pieced hexies… I had everything ready for our eight o’clock start.

After introductions and a demo everyone got to stitching. It looks a bit serious to me.

Really…

How is it I always forget to take enough pictures? Oh well. The ladies did relax somewhat and made excellent progress. The proof will be in the number of EPP quilts on display next year.

I managed to get my paperwork completed and even paid my Arkansas sales tax in the afternoon. Barb had got a recommendation for dinner in the evening and we set off up Main Street. This building was tucked in between some high rises…

Cool iron work?

Our first choice restaurant had an hour’s wait so went next door to Bruno’s Little Italy. It was good! After some excellent traditional Italian dishes we finished our meal with a cucumber, mint, gin sorbet. Yum!

A beautiful sunset lit our way back to the  hotel…

And that was Saturday.

Just one more day in Little Rock for exploration and eating… coming  tomorrow!

“How is it I always forget to take enough pictures?” Because you’re having too much fun? I love to see what you’re doing. And the cool iron work on the building and amazing sunset photos really, truly make up for pictures of people sewing. 😉
